Effective September 2022, your resale business lines may reflect a new or increased charge. This charge is a direct pass-through of third-party cost increases Allstream has incurred due to FCC deregulation of wholesale services.

Why is this additional charge required?
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has deregulated wholesale analog services. Allstream’s underlying provider for the resale lines you purchase from us has chosen to increase its rates. As a result, Allstream costs to provide these services has increased. This charge is a pass-through of Allstream’s increased costs.
Why is the charge so large?
Allstream costs have increased multiple times since 2020, and Allstream is now passing those increases through.
How do I know which of my lines are impacted?
Sign in to the Allstream Portal at https://my.allstream.com. From the MY ACCOUNT menu, select Services. Solutions associated with “QLSP” or “Resale” line may be impacted.
Can I avoid the increase?
